The Golden Rules
Always bet Banker. With a house edge of just 1.06%, Banker is the single best bet in the game. Even after the 5% commission on wins, it wins roughly 51% of hands.
Never bet Tie. The Tie pays 8:1 but has a 14.36% house edge — almost 14× worse than Banker. It is a trap for tourists.
Baccarat is not beatable long-term. No counting system, no pattern tracking, no "hot shoe" — all mathematical myth. Each hand is independent.
Flat bet, don't chase. Martingale and other doubling systems fail in the long run. Flat betting (same amount per hand) keeps variance manageable.
Set a loss limit. Decide before you sit down how much you can afford to lose in a session. When you hit it, walk. Baccarat is entertainment, not income.
